                                                            What Is A Parody?


A parody which is also called a spoof (never heard it be called that in my entire life or any of the next words that are coming up besides 2 of them), a send-up, a take-off, a lampoon, a play on, a caricature or a joke, is a work which is created to imitate make fun of or comment on an original work. Its subject, author, style, or some other target- by means of satiric or ironic imitation.

This is Weird Al Yankovic makes parody music videos of very famous songs, some of his best work is "Fat" parody of Michael Jackson's "Bad", "Preform This Way" parody of Lady GaGa's "Born This Way" and my personal favorite "Party In The CIA" parody of Miley Cyrus's "Party In The USA". He's basically the king of parody.
